Price transparency: Free Shipping

The Scavenger's Hutt does its best to provide quality customer service. One of our goals is to provide clear communication and transparency. One area where The Scavenger's Hutt provides transparency is in the product descriptions. In our product descriptions we provide disclaimers that are relevant to the product. One disclaimer is if the item is a made to order item which impacts shipping time. 

One area we have been hard at work improving is price transparency. No one likes being surprised by add on fees at checkout. One tactic that I looked into implementing is showing the shipping price on the product website. This sent me down a rabbit hole. I soon started reading about shipping profiles. Long story short, this method ended up being more complicated than initially planned. 

Today I am happy to announce our next initiative to provide transparency. Starting today The Scavenger's Hutt is offering free domestic shipping on all of our products. The price you see on the product page is now the price you will pay (subject to applicable taxes). 

I hope that this change offers further price transparency and a better shopping experience for all customers.
